ISLAMABAD, Jan 7: Pakistan’s Safeer Khan claimed the Junior British Open Squash Championship under-19 title Monday with Yasir Butt emerging the under-17 champion and Amir Atlas picking up the under-13 crown.

Safeer had to play the match of his life in overcoming the challenge of Dutchman Daylan Bennet 9-0, 0-9, 9-7, 8-10, 10-9 in what was an engrossing final.

The under-17 decider, an all-Pakistan affair, saw Yasir taking the match in straight games against Farhan Mahboob 9-7, 9- 2, 10-8.
