Taliban in Balochistan

Published November 16, 2012

TALIBANISATION had reached dangerous levels in Balochistan after the killing of the tribal leader Sadar Qaemu Kabzai in Murgha Kabzai area, Zhob.

Recently, the report issued by the Conflict Monitoring Centre Islamabad said that militancy in Balochistan has taken a complex shape because the Pashtun Tehreek Taliban and Lashker-e-Jhangvi have joined hands with each other.

It is not a secret that the militants of the Lashkar-i-Jhangvi are targeting the Hazara community of Balochistan.

On the other hand, the Tehrik-i-Taliban Balochistan is working in the Pashtun areas. Moreover Taliban are issuing threat letters to the local tribal sardars.

In this worse situation, civilian leadership with the military leadership is requested to encounter the Taliban in Balochistan with the help of the local people.
