Ingredients:

1 cup of milk ½ cup of fruit (banana, strawberries, peaches or whatever soft fruit you have) 1 or 2 Ice cream scoop or small carton of plain yoghurt (yoghurt is healthier)

You need:

A whisk and bowl or an electric blender Small sharp knife (to be used by an adult working with you) Chopping board

Method:

Pour the milk into a bowl or the blender. Cut up the fruit into small pieces.

Put the fruit into the milk and whisk, or blend it in a blender until smooth.

Add the ice cream and whisk just a little or simply stir with a spoon. Pour into a glass and drink! Makes enough for 1 large serving or two small servings.

You can add pieces of fruits or chocolate chips on top or even another scoop of ice-cream!

Note: Always have an adult with you when you are working in the kitchen. Do remember to wash your hands before you start and clean up as you go along. And don’t forget to put back all the things in their places.  — Super Chef
