Fine hat trick by Jawaid

KARACHI, Jan 6: Mohammad Jawaid first half hat trick propelled Young Shaheen into the main round of the All-Pakistan Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto football tournament after a 4-0 victory over Kalamat Welfare Centre Monday.

Jawaid found the target in the 14th minute, slammed his second in the 21st minute and completed his treble four minutes later. Naseeb Gul chipped in with a 56th-minute goal to wrap up the proceedings.

Inam Memorial defeated Jalal Murad 4-3 on penalty shootout after both were locked at 1-1 during stipulated time.

Abdul Hakeem score in the 22nd minute for Jalal Murad, while Mohammad Shahid netted for Inam Memorial four minutes before the end.
