DADU, Jan 6: A large number of degree holders staged a protest demonstration outside the local Hesco office and blocked the Dadu-Sehwan Road for two hours here on Monday against the company officials.

Talking to the protesters, Sardar Solangi, Ali Sher Lund and others said the Hesco authorities had announced to fill 200 vacant posts in the district but local officials were not providing application forms to the people. They accused the hesco officials of nepotism.

They alleged that Hesco officials had given application forms only to their relatives and said some were found selling the forms.

They appealed to the federal minister for water and power and Wapda chairman to look into the matter.

TEACHERS’ DEMO: A large number of primary teachers of the Dadu district staged a protest demonstration outside the press club here on Monday against their termination. They demanded their reinstatement.
