SARGODHA, Jan 5: Interior Minister Faisal Saleh Hayat paid a brief visit to the city on Sunday to attend the marriage ceremony of daughter of PPP dissident and Punjab Liberal Forum president Mr Asif Khan.

He held a special meeting with PPP MNA Tasneem Ahmed Qureshi and other party office-bearers and reportedly motivated them to join his group.

Before leaving Sargodha, he told newsmen that he was receiving positive response from the parliamentarians and workers all over country as they were fed up with the anti-party policies of the PPP Parliamentarians.

During the marriage ceremony, a group of PPP workers raised slogans against the minister.
