Comedian dies

KARACHI, Nov 5: Famous comedian, stage artist and parody film-maker Sikandar Sanam died of liver cancer at a hospital here on Monday.

The famous comedian was laid to rest at a graveyard in Korangi No 1. Earlier, his funeral prayer was offered at a mosque in Korangi.

The performer had been under treatment for liver cancer at the Aga Khan University Hospital Karachi since September and was discharged from the hospital a few days ago.

He is survived by his wife, four sons and two daughters. —APP
