QUETTA, Oct 31: The National Party has urged the Baloch nationalist political groups and militant leaders to join hands to struggle for protecting the rights of the people of Balochistan.

Addressing an Eid Milan party held by the National Party and the Baloch Students’ Organisation-Pujar in Turbat on Wednesday, speakers said that destroying the political, economic and education infrastructure in the province would not benefit the Baloch people.

NP president Dr Malik Baloch, provincial chief Dr Yasin Baloch and Balochistan National Party-Mengal’s leader Dr Ghafoor Baloch alleged that the provincial government had embezzled billions in the name of development projects and even ministers were involved in corruption.

They said kidnapping of youths and dumping of bullet-riddled bodies showed that the government had failed to protect the citizens.

They said that the NP, BNP-M, Jamhoori Watan Party and Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri and Sardar Ataullah Mengal should determine a course of action to protect national rights of Baloch people.
