TAXILA, Oct 23: A woman was killed after being hit by a speeding motorcyclist on G.T. Road near Chachi Mohallah in the limits of Wah Saddar Police station on Tuesday.

Umer Sagheer reported to the police that his mother Azra Begum (53) was crossing G.T. Road near Chachi Mohallah, when a motorcyclist recklessly knocked her down. She was taken to a local hospital where she succumbed to injuries.

Wah Saddar Police registered a case against the motorcyclist and started further investigation.
