The actress's item number 'Munni Badnaam Hui' in 'Dabangg' was a chartbuster. When asked if she will be seeing doing anything similar in the sequel, she said, "Well you will have to wait and see when the film releases. I cannot disclose anything at the moment."

Actress Kareena Kapoor has been roped in to do an item number in the film. The main cast of the film - Sonakshi Sinha and Vinod Khanna - have been retained, except Sonu Sood. The new addition to the cast is southern star Prakash Raj, who plays the role of the main antagonist.

Malaika walked the ramp for designer Vikram Phadnis at the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour, where the latter showcased his bridal collection 'Nazakat'.
