KARACHI, Oct 20: The City School PAF Chapter defeated their Darakshan counterparts in the inaugural match of the fourth Ian Fyfe Memorial Inter-school Invitation T20 colour-kit cricket league at the KGA Ground here on Saturday.

Opener Salman Ameer excelled with an undefeated contribution of 63 that helped PAF Chapter total 150-4. Hamza Mukaty (24) also batted well during a third-wicket partnership of 58 with Salman.

The City School Darakshan, in reply, were all out for 140 off the final ball of the game. Opener Inzamam scored 32.

Akbar Riaz bagged three wickets for 29 runs.

Earlier, the tournament, which is being held in memory of late Dawn sports reporter Ian Fyfe, was declared opened by Reverend Father Robert D’Silva.
