PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) will complete the party elections in November for which voter lists will be displayed at PTI website where voters will confirm their names.

Addressing a press conference at Peshawar Press Club on Saturday, the party’s provincial election commissioner Qazi Mohammad Anwar said the province has been divided in to four regions which includes south, Malakand, Hazara and central (Peshawar) regions. We want to complete the election process in November, he said.

He said that due to election process PTI has stopped membership process in the party adding that PTI chairman Irman Khan wants to complete the election in the party as soon as possible.

Qazi Anwar said that there is no difference in the party; therefore those taking part in election are following the democratic process as election is important for strengthening democratic roots which will further strengthen the party.

About the voter lists, PTI provincial commissioner said the names of hundreds of thousands voters will be displayed at website for their confirmation.

About issuing party ticket for the next general election, Qazi Anwar said no body has been issued party ticket for the election therefore no one should claim PTI candidature for the next general election otherwise party will take disciplinary action against them.
