SHIKARPUR, Jan 2: A large number of activists of the Jeay Sindh Mahaz observed a token hunger strike at the Lakhi Gate, Clock Tower, here on Thursday.

The hunger strike was observed to press the police and the district administration to take measures for settling tribal disputes in the district.

JSM vice-chairman Agha Qamar Mushwani and general secretary Abdul Rehman Jatoi were among the participants of the hunger strike.

Amnesty International secretary general Iqbal Detho, City Councillors Ittihad chief organizer Qazi Fayaz Ahmad and leaders of various political and religious parties visited the hunger strike camp.
