Johnny Depp is getting serious about the book business. HarperCollins Publishers announced Monday the movie star and musician will help run an imprint that will be a home for ''authentic, outspoken and visionary'' books.

Depp is starting off big: a compilation of Bob Dylan facts and stories, based in part on exclusive interviews with the songwriter himself. The interviews were done by best-selling historian Douglas Brinkley, who also will help Depp publish a recently discovered novel written by folk musician Woody Guthrie, who died in 1967.

The imprint will share its name with Depp's production company: Infinitum Nihil, meaning ''Nothing is forever.''
