TEL AVIV, Jan 1: Israeli soldiers shot dead three Palestinians trying to enter a Jewish settlement in the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday.

The soldiers opened fire at three suspects trying to cross the defensive fence of the Alei Sinai settlement.

Bomb disposal experts examined the bodies to ensure they were not carrying explosive belts, the army sources said.—AFP
