QUETTA, Oct 15: Seven people were killed and four others injured when two groups clashed over a land dispute in Kuchlak area on the outskirts of the city on Monday, police said.
The dead included Haji Bari Nurzai, Abdul Zahir Kakar, Abdul Mohammad Kakar, Haji Faiz Mohammad and Haji Mohammad Kakar.
The injured – Syed Wali, Sarwar Khan, Agha Jan and Amjad Kakar – were admitted to civil hospital.
Police and Frontier Corps personnel were deployed to the area who brought the situation under control.
A case was registered against people on both sides.
