KARACHI, Oct 14: A robbery suspect who had fled from police custody on Saturday while he was under treatment at JPMC, was arrested by the police late Saturday night.

He escaped from bed number 32, in ward 26 of JPMC, where he had been taken by the Landhi police for treatment.

Another case, for fleeing from the police custody, has been lodged against him and the constables, Mohammad Ijaz and Hashmat Khan, who had custody of the accused at the hospital, have been booked and arrested for negligence and failure to apprehend the suspect when he was fleeing.
