PESHAWAR, Jan 1: The residents of Saeedabad on Pajjagi Road have to go without breakfast due to the low gas pressure and continued indifferent attitude of the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline officials.

The residents say that the gas pressure in their locality is extremely low and during the peak hours it makes difficult for them to prepare their breakfasts or cook their meals.

The problem, say these gas consumers, has been accentuated by a drop in the temperature in recent days.

The Sui Gas authorities, they say, have turned a deaf ear to their repeated complaints and have refused to take any action to normalize the gas pressure.

Some consumers the crisis is protracted and has persisted since the beginning of the month of Ramazan.

The SNGPL authorities have not come up with any explanation to what the residents claim is a deliberate attempt at load-management at their expense.

The residents have threatened to stage a protest rally outside the Provincial Assembly to register their resentment over the apathy of the Sui Gas authorities.
