All-round show by Shahid

KARACH, Nov 22: Man of the Match Shahid Afridi played a pivotal role as KESC beat Muhammad Hussain CC (MHCC) by 20 runs in 16th Karachi Gymkhana Ramzan cricket tournament at KG Ground Thursday.

Shahid smashed eight boundaries in his 23-ball knock of 43 and brother Mushtaq made 28 as KESC bowled out for 188 on the last ball of 25th over. MHCC in reply could muster 161 for nine wickets in 25 overs. Aamir Iqbal hitting seven 4s and a six in his 59 in 61 balls.

Off-spinner Tahir Khan caused the damage in MHCC batting with four for 35 and Shahid Afridi and Tahir Mahmood chipped in with two wickets each.
