TOBA TEK SINGH, Dec 31: The Christian community took out a protest procession in Gojra on Tuesday to condemn the terrorist attack on a Daska church.
The procession led by minority councillor Munir Bhatti started from the Christian Colony and reached the tehsil municipal administration office and the ASP office after passing through various roads.
The protesters were carrying banners and placards condemning the killing of minorities in terrorist attacks in Pakistan and that of the Muslims in Kashmir and Palestine.
They later dispersed peacefully.
FOUND DEAD: Two boys were found dead here on Tuesday.
The body of an unidentified boy, about 12, was recovered from a canal near Chak 277-JB, Bhuddi Pind, in Gojra tehsil.
The body of another boy was found in a street of Madina Colony.
Two killed: Two people were murdered in separate incidents here on Tuesday. Javed killed his sister, Nasreen Bibi, over a domestic dispute in Chak 765-GB.
A farmer, Shahabal Khan, was shot dead by Gullay Khan and four accomplices over an old enmity in Mauza Sultan Kay Bhageelay. — Correspondent
