LAHORE, Oct 3: The inaugural men and women National Cycling Track Championship will be held at the country’s lone velodrome in Lahore on Oct 20 and 21.

Pakistan Cycling Federation secretary Idrees Haider Khawja said here on Wednesday that the competition is being organised to provide the cyclists with an opportunity to prepare for the 32nd National Games, which are scheduled to be held here on from Dec 22.

It will be the first event organised by the newly-elected body of the PCF, which was formed after elections were held here last Saturday on the decision of the Pakistan Olympic Association’s Arbitration Committee.—Sports Reporter
