Levies official killed

BAJAUR, Dec 30: Ten people were arrested here on Monday in a crackdown launched after the killing of a senior official of the Bajaur Levies force, officials said.

Subedar Dilaram Khan was shot dead by unknown persons near Khaar, the Bajaur Agency headquarters, on Sunday.

The officials said on Monday that the administration had held 10 people, including Afghans, in connection with the killing. More arrests were expected.
