PESHAWAR: A blast near a police van in Nowshera near the Rashakai interchange injured three policemen on Monday whereas another blast in Khyber agency's Jamrud area injured a person belonging to the Khasadar Forces, DawnNews reported.

A bomb exploded the near a van that was carrying  prisoners, near the Rashakai interchange in Nowshera, injuring three policemen.

Police and emergency teams reached the site of explosion and all injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.

Security forces cordoned off the area as investigations into the blast went underway.

A person belonging to the Khasadar Forces was injured in a blast at a market in Khyber Agency's Jamrud area.

The injured person was shifted to a nearby hospital as security forces reached the spot.

Fear and panic gripped the area after the blast as investigations into the explosion went underway.
