At least six people including a young girl were killed when two bombs went off in a busy commercial area in Karachi on Tuesday, September 18, police and hospital officials said. The bombs went off in quick succession in the usually crowded Hyderi Market in central Karachi during the evening rush hour, police officer Azam Khan said. Earlier today, a roadside bomb ripped through a passenger bus carrying Shia Muslim pilgrims in southwestern Pakistan killing at least two people and wounding about a dozen, officials said. Initially, security sources said that four people were killed by the attack but Deputy commissioner Mastung confirmed the killings of two people.
