LAHORE, Dec 28: An anti-terrorism court on Saturday deferred arguments on Dr.Ahmad Javed Khwaja and Naveed Khwaja’s bail application till Jan 1, after the prosecution sought an adjournment.

The Punjab ATCs chief prosecutor appeared before the court which had fixed Saturday for arguments on a bail application and sought adjournment.

He submitted that the prosecution should be given some time to prepare reply to the application. The court allowed the plea and gave a three-day time to the prosecution for submitting the reply to the application.

The prosecution had already been directed to submit a challan on Jan 2 by the court on the last hearing. — Reporter
