Action against policemen

PESHAWAR, Sept 17: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will take action against two police personnel who were involved in extorting money from Afghan refugees. Following the instructions of the chief minister, a meeting to discuss and resolve the grievances of Afghan nationals residing in the province was held here on Monday chaired by Information Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain.

The meeting was also attended by Syed Mohammad Ibrahimkhel, Afghan Consul General and Mohammad Azam Khan, Secretary Home and Tribal Affairs Department.

The Afghan consul general was assured that the provincial government will make all out efforts to redress the grievances of the Afghan nationals.
