PESHAWAR, Nov 22: The NWFP Selection Board, in its meeting presided over by its chairman, Chief Secretary Naeem Khan, here on Wednesday recommended the promotion of 24 provincial government officers to the higher pay scales.

According to sources, two health department officials would get BPS-20 and eight officers have been recommended for promotion to BPS-19.

The remaining officers have been recommended  for promotion from BPS-17 to BPS-18. Among them, five belong to agriculture, livestock and cooperation, three to industries and technical education, two to law and one  officer each to works and services, P&D and higher education departments.
