Man booked for rape

ISLAMABAD, Sept 10: The Kohsar police have registered a case against a man for allegedly raping his daughter.

The 20-year-old girl — SS — complained to the police that her father allegedly raped her twice — on September 4 and 7.

After registering the case, the police took the girl to a hospital where her medical examination was conducted to prove the allegation.

The victim said she was living with her parents for the last 45 days after separation from her husband. She said her father had earlier attempted to rape her but she did not complain to anyone at that time.

Kohsar police station house officer (SHO) Inspector Khalid Masood, when contacted, said the victim’s medico-legal examination had been conducted and samples sent for DNA to prove the allegation.

The SHO said the accused had gone underground after his family approached the police.

He said efforts were underway to arrest him for investigation.—Staff Reporter
