PSF’s busy schedule for 2003

LAHORE, Dec 26: Punjab Swimming Federation (PSF) will organise five events, three for boys and two for girls during 2003.

PSF will also field its teams in four national events two each of boys and girls in the same year.

PSF secretary Kamran Butt said that the general council had approved the activity programme.

For boys, the Punjab inter-district Age Group championship will be organised by the Sheikhupura district, a newly affiliated units of the association, at Muridke in the first week of May.

Punjab inter-district championship will be held by Lahore in the third week of July. Another Age Group competition had been awarded to Jhang, another newly affiliated unit. The event will be held in the first week of July.

Punjab will take part in the national Under-15 and 18 championships to be held at Peshawar. Punjab will also feature in the national senior championship to be organized the Pakistan Navy.

Punjab Inter-district girls Age Group Under-12, 14 and 16 championship and Punjab senior championship are two events to be held by the association. The dates and venues will be decided later. Punjab will also field its team in the national Age Group and national open championship for 2003.
