TOKYO, Sept 3: A 13-day exhibition showcasing works by Pakistani photographers has opened at the head office of the Japanese daily Asahi Shimbun, says a press release.

About 100 photographs are on display at the exhibition titled ‘Pakistan and its people’.

Pakistan’s Ambassador Noor Muhammad Jadmani, who inaugurated the show, said the western media presented a negative image of Pakistan and the exhibition reflecting the Pakistani culture and historical places would help negate that perception.
