DADU, Sept 2: A large number of villagers took out a procession on Sunday in protest against government’s failure to repair a road from Dadu to Jhallo village in Katcho area badly damaged by flood and heavy rains.

The protesters said that several delegations of villagers had met MNA Rafique Ahmed Jamali and MPA Syed Murad Ali Shah and requested them to order reconstruction of the road but they did not take any interest in the matter.

They said that over 12 villages of Katcho area were without electricity and any health facility.

MNA Rafique Ahmed Jamali said the road would be repaired soon. MPA Kulsoom Chandio said the road would be rebuilt with her funds.
