ISLAMABAD, Aug 18: Federal Board of Revenue has started e-filing of sales tax return to facilitate taxpayers.
An official statement issued here on Saturday said that 3,500 sales tax returns were e-filed on Saturday after launching of the software.
The new return form is posted on the FBR website.
The official said FBR has deputed special staff at contact office which operates round-the-clock to facilitate taxpayers.
“We will ensure to keep the contact centre operational even during Eid holidays for facilitation and support of taxpayers,” the FBR statement added.
