GUJRANWALA, Dec 22: A motorcyclist was shot dead on Sunday by two robbers on the Ahmad Nagar Road.

Asmatullah was on his way to Ghakkhar town from Gilwala village. Near Banke Cheema village, armed robbers signalled him to stop but he tried to speed away. The robbers opened fire on him from behind as a result of which he fell down on the road. He died while being taken to the local DHQ Hospital.

Ghakkhar police have registered a case and are investigating.
