RAWALPINDI, Aug 16: Experts from the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) Islamabad visited the Minhas airbase in Kamra on Thursday evening to collect fingerprints of the attackers killed by security forces.

The fingerprints will help Nadra to identify the militants and verify their record and other details.

A security official said that body parts and faces of the militants were being reconstructed by doctors.

According to sources, two FIRs were lodged with the Saddar Police in Attock.  Sahib Khan, inspector chowki in-charge Kamra, said in his complaint that Additional IGP and SP Hilal Khan were organising the combing of the area when one of the terrorists wearing a suicide jacket hurled four hand-grenades. Three grenades did not explode but the fourth one went off. The police team, however, escaped unhurt. The second FIR registered under the Anti-Terrorism Act carries murder and other charges.
