Man injured in Shabqadar blast

PESHAWAR: One person was injured when a bomb ripped through outside the main entrance of a civil court in Shabqadar area of Charsadda district on Monday, police said.

The explosives strapped in plastic shopping bag were placed at the main gate of the civil court and went off with big bang Monday morning, injuring one person.

The wounded was shifted to Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar for treatment.

The building was partially damaged due to the impact of explosion.

Bomb disposal squad said that one kilogram of explosives was used.

The police have started investigation.
