The media launch of the Debenhams flagship store was held at the Dolmen City Mall in Karachi last week. To mark the event a fashion presentation was held in the main lobby where models sporting casuals, semi-formals and formals rode down the escalator to the going off of flashguns as they struck a pose for cameramen. The collections mostly designed in cotton kept in mind the tropical climate and featured vibrant, vivid colours.

The UK designers showcasing their products at Debenhams feature famous names including Jasper Conran, John Rocha and Julien Macdonald. Other UK brands include Red Herring, Maine, Collection, Pineapple, Thomas Nash, FFP, etc. Debenhams is committed to styling the nation through fashion, beauty, leisure, sports, health and lifestyle products from UK’s High Street.

The media launch attended by dignitaries, socialites and celebrities was inaugurated by Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan along with Yasin Paracha, M.D., TAV, Adnan Hamid, G.M. Debenhams, and Peter King, International Operations Director.

The event was managed by H&S connect, media & PR by Take II, hair, make-up and styling for the fashion segment by Nabila’s team @ Npro and choreography by Ehtasham Ansari. — A.K.
