BVH to have six new operation theatres

BAHAWALPUR, Aug 11: Six new operation theatres will be constructed at emergency ward of Bahawal Victoria Hospital.

According to health department sources, the construction of new operation theatres will cost Rs83.4 million.

An amount of Rs50 million has been earmarked for the construction of heart surgery ward. Furthermore an amount of Rs114.3 million has also been allocated for a kidney transplantation centre.

For Bahawalpur District Headquarters Hospital, an amount of Rs700 million has been earmarked for the purchase of machinery and other equipment.—APP
