ATTOCK, Aug 5: A boy and a girl were killed at Jangla village of Pindgheb police station.

Police sources on Sunday claimed that a boy A.H., a resident of Talagang, had come to Jangla village to meet his friend F.N. on Saturday evening.

As they were meeting, the girl’s three brothers and an uncle, who were aware of their relationship, reached the spot with axes and other weapons.

The armed men – S.K., M.A., M.K. and Z.K. – first attacked the boy with axes, and later shot him dead. After killing him, they dragged the girl to their house where they also killed her.

The alleged killers then escaped from the scene.

On information, the local police reached the scene and shifted the bodies to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Pindigheb.
