SUKKUR, Aug 1: An ongoing enmity between Solangis and Lasharis resulted in the kidnapping of three women, a girl and a boy from Godi village near Karampur, Kandhkot-Kashmore district, on Wednesday.

According to sources Madam Lashari w/o Hidayatullah Lashari, Ameeri w/o Nasrullah Lashari, Fareeda w/o Nanoo, Zainab d/o Mehmood Lashari and Ahsan s/o Hidayatullah had been kidnapped to avenge abduction of two young Solangi girls Najma and Hazrai on Tuesday evening from the same village.

SHO of Karampur police station told journalists that police were conducting raids for safe recovery of all kidnapped people.

No case was registered till late Wednesday.

Handcuffed accused escapes

A handcuffed accused escaped from Jhonas police picket of Sultanpur police station of Pano Akil, on Wednesday.

Mir Mohammad Mirbahar was arrested on different criminal charges such as looting, and for being involved in police encounter five days ago. He was kept at the police station since then.

SSP Pir Mohammad Shah of Sukkur taking notice of the incident demoted and suspended the SHO Noor Mohammad Channa of Sultanpur police station. He was sent to police line in Sukkur.
