KARACHI, July 30: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation on Monday launched an 18-day fumigation drive under its malaria and dengue control programmes.

According to a KMC statement, 65 spray vehicles have been employed for fumigation, being carried out in the evening.

On Monday, it was carried out in the south district and will continue on Tuesday while the east district will be covered from Aug 1 to 3, the central district from Aug 4 to 7, the west district west from Aug 8 to 10 and the Malir district will be covered from Aug 11 to 13.

The Karachi district council areas would be covered on Aug 15 and 16, the statement said.
