KARACHI, July 29: The Jamaat-i-Islami distributed ration among deserving poor families at a simple ceremony in Federal B Area on Sunday.
City chief of the JI Muhammad Hussain Mehanti and former city nazim Naimatullah Khan distributed the rations.
Mr Mehanti said that in the Islamic polity it was the responsibility of the ruler to take care of the poor and needful.
But, he regretted, our rulers had vast plundered wealth deposited in foreign countries which if brought back, many problems confronting to the country could be resolved.
