ATTOCK, July 27: A man was murdered while another sustained serious injuries separately in different areas of the district.

Police said here on Friday that a tenant Mohammad Mushtaq was murdered by some unknown persons in the limits of Fatehjang police station, Thursday evening.

On the information, local police reached the spot and shifted the body to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital. The legs and hands of the deceased were found fastened with a rope. Fatehjang police registered a murder case against unidentified accused on the report of the deceased’s brother, Ghulam Shabbir and were investigating.

Meanwhile, a farmer Malik Adnan, a resident of Kamra village reported to Attock Sadder police that he was busy in routine work at his agricultural fields, when five village fellows allegedly attacked him over a land dispute.

As a result, he sustained serious injuries and was shifted to the local hospital. A case was registered against all the accused by police.
