Charged parking

Published July 24, 2012

KARACHI, July 23: Karachi Metropolitan Corporation has decided to charge a fee for parking of vehicles around Bachat Bazaars across the city, says a press release.

The decision has been taken in view of heavy rush at the bazaars in Ramazan and the traffic jams caused by illegal parking, it says.

The KMC has fixed Rs10 for a car and Rs5 for a motorcycle as parking fee, and advised citizens to make a complaint at telephone No. 99230819 if a higher fee is charged.—Staff Reporter
