The Higgs boson news has been commented a lot more by interested membres of the public rather than by specialists scientists. After writing my relativité paper where I connected spécial and général relativité into one équation in SAJS, 104:221-224, I have been working on what could be the explanation for gravit y, mass, matter, consciousness, the relality of the universe and of existence. My conclusion which I will publish in book form indicates strongly that gravit y is an effect and not some kind of energy like EM energy for instance. So one should speak of gravitationnel pull and not of gravity. As regards mass it cannot be due to some particle. God actually made the universe in a much more complicated manner, to produce space, time, gravitational pull, energy, matter, and consciousness and the means He used had already taken care to make it possible for matter to be massive. If photons are massless, it is because the same reason which produise mass also made photons massless. All that happens in the universe follows already masterminded processes which is the reason why we have matter, motion, gravitational pull, existence, consciousness and life with humans at the top.

There is no justification to call Higgs particles as God particles.

Higgs, an atheist himself, is displeased that the Higgs particle is nicknamed the "God particle", because the term "might offend people who are religious". In explaining his choice of nickname for the particle, Lederman begins by recounting the long human search for knowledge, commenting: "Today ... we have the standard model, which reduces all of reality to a dozen or so particles and four forces. ... It's a hard-won simplicity [...and...] remarkably accurate. But it is also incomplete and, in fact, internally inconsistent... This boson is so central to the state of physics today, so crucial to our final understanding of the structure of matter, yet so elusive, that I have given it a nickname: the God Particle. Why God Particle? Two reasons. One, the publisher wouldn't let us call it the Goddamn Particle, though that might be a more appropriate title, given its villainous nature and the expense it is causing. And two, there is a connection, of sorts, to another book, a much older one..." Lederman whimsically asks whether the Higgs boson was added just to make matters more difficult for those seeking knowledge of the universe and whether physicists will be confounded by it as in the biblical story of Babel, or ultimately surmount the challenge and understand "how beautiful is the universe [God has] made".

Not Higgs - Lederman said quite a bit after he had called the Hiigs Boson "God particle" that he wished had called it the "Goddamn particle", - for the same reason that you mention

I admire the confidence with which the writer has declared there is no Big bang and says that God doesnot play particle game. It fails him to realise that if he can critique science people can also critique " believers' . I can equally confidently declare' There in No God'. Atleast Higgs Boson has maths behind it, God concept has no proof except elusive stories told by God to all mesihas all of them told to only one chosen person on top of a mountain or somewhere unseen and that too not open to argument.Religion is a curse and cause of all the blood shed on this earth.

Actually Higgs wanted to call it the Goddamn particle because of its elusiveness but with time ti has been shortened to God paticle.

can any one can explain what is "Time" properly? with out using recursive definitions? simple and overlooked fundamental thing so far! every one take it for granted... but what is the true nature of it? why it behaves in the way it does? any answers? answers might clear many scientific puzzles!

It would easily have, the only thing was the lack of war machinery in pre-industrialization era and shift of world power dynamics after it.
