Woman swindled

ATTOCK, July19: A swindler couple looted financial aid of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP)   from a poor deserving woman.

As per reports, an elderly woman BS, of Dhoke gamma village had withdrawn Rs3,000 of BISP from a bank’s ATM and was on her way with her daughter to a local store in Attock city, to  purchase groceries for Ramazan. On the way, she was accosted by a couple on a motorbike, who introduced themselves as officials of BISP and asked her to show the withdrawn amount, for verification. —Correspondent
