KOHAT, Dec 17: DIG Kohat region suspended the whole staff of Lachi police station during a surprise visit of the area on Monday.

DIG Ghulam Mohammad paid a surprise visit to the Lachi police station during a round of the district and found the SHO, assistant sub-inspector (ASI), Moharar and a constable absent, although they had marked themselves present in the daily attendance register.

He issued on the spot suspension orders of SHO Gulzar, ASI Zafarullah, Moharar Islam Janan and constable Noor Mohammad.
