BAJAUR, Dec 16: The political administration of Bajaur Agency has dismissed four personnel of the levies force from service over their involvement in illegal activities.
According to sources, the political agent taking serious action of the activities of the four dismissed them from service.
The four were involved in two different cases.
Two of them, Havaldar Shah Hussain and Sepoy Hazrat, were involved in the kidnapping of two boys of a local tribe. The tribal elders had filed a case against the two, who were arrested and sent to jail on a two-day remand, the sources said.
They further said that during interrogation, the two admitted to their involvement in the case. On Friday, the political administration issued orders for their dismissal from service.
Two other personnel of the levies, Hassan Khan and Shah Wazir, have also been dismissed from service for stealing fruit.
They were held by the armed men of an elder of the Salarzai tribe when they were stealing fruit from the elder’s orchard.
