LARKANA, July 12: A man and his friends killed an ailing man and his nephew here on Thursday for only Rs8000.

Zulfikar Ali Khoso, along with his two friends, barged into the house of Muhammed Uris Khoso, 19, and shot at him and his ailing uncle Rustam Khoso, 35, in the village of Noor Muhammed Khoso.

The injured were shifted to Chandka Medical College Hospital in a precarious condition where they died.

Police have registered an FIR on the compliant of Ghulam Shabir Khoso, father of Muhmmed Uris. He told police that his son had obtained a Rs8,000 loan from Zulfikar Khoso about four years ago.On the day of incident, Zulfikar, along with three other people, visited the house and demanded his money. Uris said it would be cleared soon.

Later, Zulfikar turned up with his armed friends and committed the crime.

The FIR has been registered against four persons, including Zulfikar, Shahnawaz, Liaquat (all Khosos) and one unidentified person.

Police had arrested Zulfikar Khoso with the weapon used in the crime, SHO of Mahota police station Riaz Abbasi said.
