KASUR, Dec 16: Three gunmen on Monday shot dead a milkman for refusing them to pay protection money near Kalian Pulan village, Khudian.
Police said Muhammad Tufail was going to Khudian by his van (5115-LXB) when Ghulam Rasool Gujjar and his two accomplices stopped him and shot him dead.
Khudian police have registered a case.
CRUSHED: A man was crushed to death on Monday by a speeding van (3979-RIM) in Atari Jeet Singh village.
Abdul Ghafoor was crossing the road when the incident happened. He was rushed to RCH, Kot Radha Kishan, where he died.
TAKEN AWAY: Four unidentified dacoits on Monday looted cash, prize bonds and ornaments from a house in Azhar Colony.
Four armed men barged into Arshad’s house on the Khara Road, held up the inmates and fled after looting Rs10,000 in cash, prize bonds worth Rs50,000, six tolas of gold and a TV set.
