ISLAMABAD, July 10: A woman died after falling from the rooftop of Al-Mustafa Tower in F-10 on Tuesday.

Police said it was yet to be established whether the woman had committed suicide.

However, the possibility of suicide was slim as she was neither the resident of the apartment nor anyone recognised her.

The circumstantial evidence made the incident suspicious and chances of murder could not be ruled out, said the police. The unidentified victim was in her mid-40s.

Some residents saw her falling from the building and informed the police who reached the spot and shifted her to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The police questioned the guards and residents of the apartment but everyone showed ignorance about her.

The police said efforts were in progress to establish the identity of the woman.

The concern is that if the government is thinking of cutting costs through the merger, we might even lose the functionality levels we currently have.
